Christmas Decor!
For the last 2 Christmases my decorations were red and gold so I decided to do something different this year. Actually, I bought my decorations last year right after Christmas (which is the best time to buy ornaments and such) for 80% off. I got such good deals that I stocked up on ornaments, Christmas tree skirt, and wrapping paper that I am using this year. This year my colors are silver and blue. I also went to Pier 1 and got some cute star ornaments that are so sparkly I just HAD to get them. After I decorated the tree that we got at the local Christmas tree farm for 22 dollars (awesome deal!) I realized that it was way too plain and lacked some color. So I went to Macy's to look for some last minute gifts and ran into the cutest ornaments EVER!
By the way I got those 60% off :)
I mean, look at that!! I just want to eat those! SO CUTE! These ones were originally $12 each but I got them for $ 4.80 and I got 2 of those.
These ones were $8 originally and I got them for $3.20 each and I got 3 of those.
This ice cream ornament was originally $13 and I got it for $5.20 each. I got 2 of those.
Now my tree looks complete and so cute! I think this is our best tree yet!
Basically, I saved $44.40 on all these "edible"-looking ornaments.
macys.com I cannot find these online but maybe they have them I just didn't look hard enough.

My gift wrapping skills. I love this wrapping paper!
I got 3 of these cute stars at Pier 1 and these I love! This picture does not do them justice of how sparkly they are. They are so light so they are not pulling on my already unsteady tree (oops!).
Another picture of the strawberry shortcake :)
These butterflies I got at TJMaxx for $7.99 for 3 of them. I think that was a great deal since they are really good quality and come with clips that easily clip on to the tree and stay put. Also, they match perfectly!
I love these ornament hooks that I also got at Pier 1 for $5 for 16 of them. I had enough of these for all my plain ornaments and they just make the whole tree look so much more beautiful! I'm so glad I got these! They are just so much more sturdy then the regular ones that I had and I think they will last me for many Christmases to come.
These bows I got last year at Kmart (I think).
TA-DA!! My tree in all its glory! I love the way it turned out! I am still in the process of wrapping some of the girts so there will be more once I'm done. I still need to get mom something else and then that completes my list!
I hope you enjoyed looking at my decorations!
Love, Inna

Review: Stila Backstage Eyeshadow Palette!
Another awesome palette from Stila. The colors are very pigmented and vibrant. This palette consists of 6 eyeshadows:
Chiffon: nude peachy pink with a shimmery finish
Flamingo: bright fuchsia purple with a more of a matte finish (the only matte color in the palette)
Pacific: medium blue with very fine light blue shimmer
Luster: chocolate brown with a very fine gold shimmer
Poetic: light mauve with very fine silver shimmer
Coal: dark teal color (in the pan), but on swatches looks dark gray with very fine dark teal shimmer
The packaging is very cute on top of the palette with a roses design in a dark purple shimmery case. The actual palette is made of cardboard and each eyeshadow is in a metal pan that will stick to a magnet if need be. I think I might take all these eyeshadows and put them into a bigger palette. This palette does not have a mirror.

Consistency:
The consistency of these shadows is that they are very soft and a little goes a long way. This palette will last me forever even though I might use it on a daily basis. The shadows are a little chalky, however, so if you pick up too much product you might see fallout, which I did not have a problem with so far. They blend like a dream and that I love. I use my Sigma E29 and all the looks I've created with this palette look so beautiful and these colors work very well together. Also, these are buildable meaning if you use less of the product it will look lighter (and ultimately more natural), and the more you use the more dramatic the look would be.

Here are some swatches of the colors:
Chiffon, Flamingo, Pacific, Luster, Poetic, Coal
Here you can see last 3 better (Luster, Poetic, Coal)
Chiffon, Flamingo, Pacific, Luster

These retail for $28 and I got mine at stilacosmetics.com. I think it's an awesome value because they are such good quality and I feel like they will last me forever. The total weight is .39 oz or 11g.
